Bilingual influencer campaign on TikTok in three waves to raise awareness among the Swiss population about the risks and consequences of counterfeit products.
Counterfeit products are manufactured under unfair labor and environmental conditions, are rarely repairable or recyclable, and promote a throwaway culture that contradicts sustainable consumption.
Emarket coordinated and contracted around 20 micro- and nano-influencers across German-speaking Switzerland, French-speaking Switzerland, and Ticino. Their task was to create organic and paid-ready content. Emarket handled briefing, quality control, and contract management. Emarket also set up cross-posting between the influencer channels and the Stop Piracy channel, and implemented paid social on TikTok, including targeting and A/B testing of creatives. Throughout the campaign, Emarket managed performance optimization and multilingual community management. Monthly and final reports, including impact assessments, concluded the waves.
The campaign reached over 1.8 million people, generated 41,400 link clicks, and 28,000 landing page views. Over 40,000 likes, more than 3,400 saves, and over 390 comments demonstrate that the content resonated with the target audience both emotionally and substantively. During the French-speaking Switzerland wave, 85 percent of website traffic came directly from the campaign.
