Tertianum Employer Branding & Social Media

Lead mandate for employer branding and social recruiting for one of Switzerland's largest residential and nursing care providers, resulting in 1,661 applications in 2025.

Initial situation

The nursing sector is under intense recruitment pressure, and open positions in nursing and care could not be filled sufficiently through traditional channels. Tertianum lacked visibility as an employer, and there was no systematic social recruiting setup with an end-to-end funnel and measurable results.

Solution

Emarket manages the employer branding mandate as the lead agency, overseeing everything from the employer value proposition to the final application—including strategy, content, campaigns, community management, and reporting—all from a single source.

The foundation is the employer branding strategy, including the EVP, which Emarket developed and continues to maintain together with Tertianum. On TikTok, Emarket focuses on the employees themselves: in workshops, young staff are empowered to become creators, covering everything from understanding formats and smartphone filming to storytelling in just a few seconds. This has led to an internal creator community of apprentices, which Emarket continuously supports and provides with topics. Editorial and content production cover static posts, animated image ads, short videos, job-specific ads, and interactive story ads.

Emarket utilizes Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads as a continuous, wave-based, always-on structure. Employer branding content builds awareness throughout the year, while job-specific ads capture this prepared target audience and guide them to apply. Targeting is based on professional group, region, and language area. Creatives are continuously A/B tested and adjusted based on actual application numbers. Hard-to-fill profiles receive dedicated campaign logic with tighter targeting.

Between the ad and the applicant tracking system sits Quapply, a proprietary tool for quick applications. Instead of a multi-page form, the ad leads to a short mobile flow highlighting the benefits of the position, a few pre-qualification questions, and contact details, with the CV remaining optional. An application takes about one minute. This removes the exact hurdle where social recruiting usually loses candidates, and applications flow directly into the client's SAP SuccessFactors via an interface.

Emarket handles community management across all channels. Thanks to the end-to-end integration, the monthly cross-platform reporting shows the cost per application and per hire, rather than being limited to cost per click.

Result

In 2025, the social recruiting engine generated 1,661 applications with a funnel conversion rate of 5.2 percent across all professional groups. The mandate has been running since December 2023.
